Overview

This course introduces the student to the types of texts and terminology used in the field of work and trade.

Intended learning outcomes

By the end of the 14th week, the student should be able to:

  • Able to know the terminology used in job applications

  • Able to correspond with companies and shipping offices
  • Able to conclude contracts and understand the terminology used
